Dear 6 Hope pupils,Today is the release of the PSLE results. The highest aggregate score for this year was 268/300. Next year, all of you will be taking the PSLE @_@ Thus, I would like all of you to response to my post by telling me the aggregate score that you target for yourself next year and the name of the Secondary School you wish to be posted. Hope to hear from all of you.
PS: Hope all of you have been reading during the school holiday....

I would like to ask you whether 2009 aggregate for the schools that i wish to be posted, will their aggregate be the same?
Or will they increase or decrease?

For me,i would like to target for 220 and above.And i also don't know which school i wish to go.

I'm glad that you have targetted to achieve 220 and above. I feel that you should set a higher target, say 235 and above. You should have no problem in achieving 235 and above if you brush up on your English. In fact, Ms Seow hope you can enter Yishun Town Sec.

I am glad that you have thought about the sec schs that you would like to be posted. I would feel that an aggregate of 221 is too low to be posted to Ahmad Ibrahim or CHIJ St Nicholas. You should set a higher target and I believe that you are capable of achieving a higher aggregate in PSLE. A target of 240 would be ideal for u. Aim high so that you can achieve high. You may not feel good if you enter a sec sch with the lowest cut-off aggregate as it is most likely that you end up in the last class. So, my advice is always to do your very best in whatever you do;-)
For your second question, the aggregate that the sec sch accept changes every year. The aggregate that I have posted is based on the students the schs have accepted in 2008. The aggregate changes as it is based on a few factors:
1) The performance of other pupils in other schools in Singapore
2) The popularity of the school
3) The aggregate score of the pupils who choose the schools as one of their options
PSLE is a placement test which is very competitive, To get your desired sch, the secret is to aim high and work hard.

for me,i would like to target 230 and above. and i wish to go to yishun town sec because my sister have gone to that school and she say that it is a very good sch.
this is a different topic. i wanted to ask you indicating the homework. if i have read 4 books and done the activities, and if i read 2 more books, must i do the activities?
For my aggregate, i would like to target for 231 and the secondary school i like to go to is Yishun Town Sec Sch or Chung Cheng High Sch
For my aggregate, i would like to target for 235 and the secondary school that i wish to go to are Chung Cheng Hight Sch abd CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls' Sch
For my aggregate, i would like to target for 222 and above as the secondary schools i wish to be posted are Chung Cheng high schl and CHlJ St. Nicholas Girls Schl.
For me, i would like to target for 220 and above . for the school any of it is fine with me but i would not like to go to NVSS
For my aggerate, I would like to target 240 and above for my PSLE and be posted to Presbytarian High School.
